Here are our upcoming competition themes and closing dates. Please see the Competition Rules for guidance regarding entries.

2012 Competitions

The themes of our 2012 competitions will be as follows:

Winter Landscapes, Monochrome, Peace, Derelict, Emotion, and Guilty Pleasures.

2011 Competitions

11th March - 'Rust'

Members are invited to photograph the subject of 'Rust' - it could be anything from a box of rusty nails to a piece of sculpture you may have seen on your travels - if it's rusty, we want to see your photograph of it!

22nd April - 'Macro'

Members are invited to photograph any subject they find interesting at close range. In photography, Macro is defined as 'photographing (usually small) objects at close range' - so let's see what you've got, up close if you please!

1st July - 'Water'

Members are invited to submit any photographs centering on the theme of water - it can be a still, calm, landscape, a close up of ripples from a recent fishing trip, or even a photograph of a rainstorm... Be creative and enjoy!

7th October - 'Twilight'

Members are invited to submit images taken at twilight - apologies to popular fiction fans, but the subject doesn't focus on vampires - however, if you could photograph a vampire at twilight... Let's see what you could come up with for this spooky 'half-light' competition theme...
